There are many different approaches one can take when it comes to meditation techniques for anxiety. Dealing with anxiety by using meditation is a step in the right direction. One of the first crucial steps you can take to deal with your anxiety meditation would be for you to become aware of your initial adjustment period. What I mean by this is you may have a difficult time adjusting to meditation when you first begin.

You may experience certain sensations and feelings that may be uncomfortable for you. Usually these sensations and feelings are going to be the source of any and all anxiety you’ve been dealing with lately. You may not want to go confront the sources of your anxiety at first, but it is necessary in order for you to use meditation techniques for anxiety properly.
